Let’s get the Holiday Spirit started – especially for children who are less fortunate! A little can go a long way with NAAAP Toronto’s support and your participation. Operation Christmas Child is a fun and simple, hands-on project of Samaritans Purse that anyone can participate in. Each gift-filled shoe box is used to bless the life of a child living in a desperate situation. Last year, 672,274 boxes were collected and packed by Canadians and distributed to children in more than 15 countries. This year, the shoe boxes that are collected in Canada are scheduled to be sent to: Chile, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Equatorial Guinea, Guatemala, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Haiti, Ivory Coast, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Uruguay, Venezuela

Last year, with your generous support and donation, 123 shoe boxes filled with new gifts, toys, school supplies and hygienic items were collected. Participating is easy…simply purchase a pre-made shoe box which will be packaged and sent by Judy Liou (a former NAAAP Toronto Executive Board Member). Each precious and carefully-packed shoe box gift sent overseas is a reminder that in the midst of all the pain, suffering, and violence, someone still cares. It is more than a box of toys; it is a personal gift of hope and love.

Gift shoeboxes are filled with new gifts, toys, school supplies, hygienic items to be sent to underprivileged children in third world countries.

Click here to purchase online a pre-made shoe box for only $20.00 (includes $7 shipping).  NOTE: All pre-made shoe boxes must be purchased before November 11, 2012 to allow sufficient time to prepare, pack and deliver shoe boxes to a designated drop off location during the national collection week (November 19-25, 2012)

Questions? Or if you would like to pack and drop off your own shoebox, contact; Judy Liou  Mobile: (416) 562-9028, e-mail: [email protected]
